Platters 4 ½ stars for 2020

A very gentle whole bunch pressing was used to ensure that only the best possible juice gets extracted from the grapes. Juice was fermented in 500L French oak barrels and then left on the lees, in barrel, for 11 months. This wine is showing complex aromatics of lime, peach and white pear. On the palate, the wine is showing intense concentration of fruit. The zesty acidity gives this Semillon great freshness and a long lingering aftertaste.
