The grapes were sourced from a 34 year old bushvine vineyard on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain Range. This vineyard overlooks False Bay and is cooled by the prevailing South Easterly wind, known locally as the Cape Doctor. We use Eastern European white oak during maturation for a number of years. This white oak adds a distinct and authentic character to the wine. Beautiful, full-bodied with crisp acidity. A food driven wine.
