The Chelsea Flower Show comes to Stanford
In celebration of the Chelsea Flowers in Stanford 2026, we have launched a limited edition six bottle mixed case of Lomond wines celebrating our region’s Fynbos.
All profits from the sales of these wines will be donated to the Walker Bay Fynbos Conservancy to fund the Rise of the Fynbos initiative.
This case will be available at the Chelsea Flowers in Stanford exhibition, at our tasting room or via our online store.

At the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026 in London, team South Africa captured hearts and received global attention with an ephemeral interpretation of Life After Fire.
Led by famed botanist Leon Kluge and artist Tristan Woudberg, the display celebrates the kaleidoscope of colour that emerges from the burnt landscape as fynbos regenerates after wildfires. Winning Gold and Best Exhibit in the Grand Pavilion, the display is one not to be missed. It’s a story of resilience, hope and biodiversity.

The Rise Of The Fynbos
Rise of the Fynbos is a community-driven initiative dedicated to documenting, celebrating and supporting the remarkable recovery of the Walker Bay fynbos following devastating fires. Fire is a natural and essential part of the fynbos ecosystem, creating an opportunity for regeneration and new life. However, the period immediately after a fire is critical, as invasive alien vegetation can quickly take hold and threaten the recovery of indigenous species.
The initiative aims to turn this moment of recovery into an opportunity for long-term conservation and restoration. By supporting the clearing of invasive alien plants, Rise of the Fynbos helps restore biodiversity, protect vital water resources, reduce future fire risk and create meaningful employment within local communities. Ultimately, it is about giving our fynbos the opportunity to rise stronger after fire — and ensuring this extraordinary landscape continues to thrive for generations to come.
