The MCC's Have My Heart - I Was invited to Visit Lomond A While Ago And if I'm Honest the Vibe is SO Nice And Peaceful, Enjoying Champagne in A Variety of Flavors, With A View Like that... WOW. Just WOW! The Charcuterie Plate Was delicious And the Flavors throughout Compliment Everything From Start to Finish.I Can't Wait to Go back On My Own Accord And Enjoy the bubbles that Changed the View I Had On Champagne!

Absolutely amazing experience! The waitress was finominal with expert-level knowledge of the wines and the farming practices employed on the farm. She matched the energy of the group with excellent banter and great service. 10/10

Really enjoyed our visit to Lomond Wine Farm. The wines were great and the food was very good. Johané looked after us so well - friendly, attentive, and made the experience easy and relaxed. Overall a lovely outing and we'd happily return.

Our waitress, Johané had a very good understanding for the wines as well as a true passion for the wine making process. Great service and wines!

We visted Lomond Wine Estate Twice - this is what happened on our first trip in November 2024:

So wanted this to be a great experience - alas! We booked a couple of weeks beforehand, only to be told upon arrival that they had no reservation for us. We then found out that the staff member who told us this was also the same person who had confirmed our booking via e mail!!!!! Our young waitron was pleasant and wanted to please, but he was very nervous and told us that he wasn't allowed to taste the wines (presumably on duty). This was a pity because he wasn't able to give us in depth tasting information that we would have enjoyed.

One of our wines was corked and we waited quite a bit of time for bottles of water to be replaced. Positively, we did two different wine pairings and the nougat one was delicious and well balanced with the specially customised nougat pieces. The Lomond Platter was excellent value for money and included something for everyone, ie fish, meat and cheese. The views were wonderful and we were blessed to have visited Lomond on a quiet day, so that we could enjoy the tranquility and views over the loch.

We would have liked to have bought some of the Lomond trout products if they had been available.

Overall, a lovely spot with some nice, well priced wines.

As a footnote, the Cellar Master Anné responded to this review and we spoke in detail about our experience at Lomond. She was very responsive to our feedback and we look forward to a return visit during the Winter months.

After a return visit in November 2025:

A further update! We just revisited Lomond after almost a year and our experience was absolutely wonderful. We were treated to a customised wine tasting with a marvellous selection of Lomond Wines - Sugarbush and Pincushion being our particular favourites. The platters are still incredibly generous and a perfect accompaniment to the wines. This time, we were able to buy some trout products that finished off our return trip perfectly. Lomond must be commended for taking guest feedback so professionally - they are definitely the gold standard.

Beautiful wine estate the view for me was💯 stuff very friendly and professional we arrived close to closing time but they still gave us a great customer service💯 I did the red wine tasting I found the wine's body to be lighter that I would prefer... Overall it's was a great afternoon with friends and I would give it a 9/10👌💯

Its a bit out in the sticks, but well worth the visit. The view from the tasting room is peaceful and beautiful. The wines are great and well priced. The lady who served us was very knowledgeable.

Excellent wine tasting experience Great wines and the young man presenting was knowledgeable and really keen. Their Syrah range was excellent. A must visit if you are in the area.

Take the time to look them up. They are off the beaten path but a great option for a fantastic lunch and good wine.

Not to be missed, no fuss, down to earth wine tasting with an abundant and tasty platter. A lot nicer staff and service and less pretentious than the large wineries in western cape. Recommend the brut rosé and pincushion.

Lomond Wine Estate, Gansbaai Nestled in the rolling hills of Gansbaai, Lomond offers a peaceful escape with breathtaking views, delicious platters, and a wine selection.If you love a good pairing of local cheeses, cured meats, and fresh 🍞, then this board is for you. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. It is the kind of platter that makes you want to cancel your plans and sit there all day. While most of the selection was decent, nothing extraordinary, the Shiraz? Oh, the Shiraz!🍷 This one stole the show. Deep, rich, and full of bold flavors. If you visit, do yourselves a favor and grab a bottle or case to take home. Would I go back? ABSOLUTELY. When visiting Gansbaai, Western Cape, South Africa, Lomond Wine Estate should be on your list.

We experienced a long table tasting today with David and Leander. It is truly an experience not to be missed. Not your usual winefarm experience, relaxed and laidback with super wines and nice people.
