Its a bit out in the sticks, but well worth the visit. The view from the tasting room is peaceful and beautiful. The wines are great and well priced. The lady who served us was very knowledgeable.

Excellent wine tasting experience Great wines and the young man presenting was knowledgeable and really keen. Their Syrah range was excellent. A must visit if you are in the area.

Take the time to look them up. They are off the beaten path but a great option for a fantastic lunch and good wine.

Not to be missed, no fuss, down to earth wine tasting with an abundant and tasty platter. A lot nicer staff and service and less pretentious than the large wineries in western cape. Recommend the brut rosé and pincushion.

Lomond Wine Estate, Gansbaai Nestled in the rolling hills of Gansbaai, Lomond offers a peaceful escape with breathtaking views, delicious platters, and a wine selection.If you love a good pairing of local cheeses, cured meats, and fresh 🍞, then this board is for you. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. It is the kind of platter that makes you want to cancel your plans and sit there all day. While most of the selection was decent, nothing extraordinary, the Shiraz? Oh, the Shiraz!🍷 This one stole the show. Deep, rich, and full of bold flavors. If you visit, do yourselves a favor and grab a bottle or case to take home. Would I go back? ABSOLUTELY. When visiting Gansbaai, Western Cape, South Africa, Lomond Wine Estate should be on your list.

We experienced a long table tasting today with David and Leander. It is truly an experience not to be missed. Not your usual winefarm experience, relaxed and laidback with super wines and nice people.

Started off a family members birthday celebrations here. Lovely fire going on this winters day which is always such a bonus when venturing out. The lady who help us was so sweet and patient as we were a big group and she was the only 1 working on the 12th of July. Enjoyed the wines & views.

Lomond is an un discovered gem, set in a beautiful valley on the shore of a huge dam. This is nature at its best, surrounded by unspoilt and undeveloped beauty. The wines have unique stories, each one rivalling the other. An absolute must!

Wonderful visit to Lomond Tasting Room in Gansbaai. The tasting area is outdoors in a beautiful setting on the edge of their dam and we enjoyed the charcuterie platters with our wine tasting. The staff are helpful and the wine is excellent.

Wonderful Shiraz and a regular favorite in our house.

Everything about Lomond is wonderful and unique. The farm is close to the ocean and the vines are surrounded by indigenous fynbos, with an abundant water supply. This makes for not only delicious wines but a wonderful farm visit experience. We have mountain biked, hiked and fished on the farm (make sure you get permission first), followed by lazy afternoons of platters, swimming and tasting the full range of wines on offer. Visiting the farm is highly recommended. Great for families and nature lovers.

What a way to spend a wonderful day with your friends and family, the wine, food the views and wow the fynbos, take a walk and experience a whole new world out there amongst the most different species of Fynbos you will ever find it's just an amazing Wine Estate.

As far as a Shiraz goes, this is deserving of the awards and points it has been given. Definitely worth a purchase!

What an amazing example of a Syrah, Wonderful fruit with a lovely round and full mouth feel ending with tantalising spicy flavours that stay forever. I just love white peper. Absolutely delicious .

The road to this wine farm, especially, after the recent heavy rains, has to be negotiated with caution if you travel in a normal sedan.
